Wiring a fan and lights into the system

Hello there gang!

New to posting in forums as I’ve only just started my first conversion. (Very excited!!)

I was just wondering if there’s a good reason to not wire a fan and light system together?

I would wire them separately because the fan could cause the lights to flutter.
