I will be without home and will need to live like a nomad due to low income. I would like to experience Nevada communities.
I know nothing at all about this; I’ve lived my life in my own home and never thought I would need to be living out of my SUV on the road.
Lots of BLM land in Nevada, where you can stay for up to 2 weeks for free. The problem is there’s no amenities.
Gotta get that low income problem solved ASAP!

Do you have to be in specific part of Nevada?
In Nevada you will be sticking to warm areas in winter, obviously, and in summer it will get too hot for vehicle living and you migrate to colder areas at higher elevations.
For winter, Lake Mead region has lots of camping around it, not just in the National Rec area but also on BLM a bit East of it
Some spend time in Parhump region (too cold for my taste, nights get cold)
You want to keep elevation below 2000 ft in winter especially living out of SUV to avoid being cold.
In summers you work your way up the elevation.
If you are on location independent income you can consider LTVA, long term visitor areas South of NV in AZ and So Cal. These allow to stay in one spot instead of moving every 14 days like almost every other type of public land and there you find tons of socializing and community. NV doesn’t really have that community stuff like in Quartzsite
Not going to post here again, very bad vibes on this forum combined with completely false, ruinous and unsafe advice. Look for nomad groups on facebook, this helps to find a community
