Questions regarding the interior of my 1997 Ford e- 150 conversion van

Introduce Yourself…

Hi I am Kat The One and Only I just bought this to start my van life. I’ve been watching many YouTube videos etc. regarding what to do on the inside of your van. Shows removing the panels, installing insulation etc. Should I remove fabric on ceiling or walls??
Welllll, mine is already like that  being the fancy conversion van. I am wondering on anyone’s opinion on that. Do I redo it? Or go with stock??
thank you very much

Greetings!

My suggestion is to go with stock. Removing it and starting over is a waste of time & money.

I’d just remove one or both middle seats, move my kitchen & bathroom in, hook up a house battery to charge while driving, and go try it out. That will help you figure out if you want to make changes before you get a lot of time or money invested.

Cheers!

Thank you.
Fortunately, I don’t have passenger seats. There used to be a wheelchair lift. And Rear still has an electric sofa - (bed)
My mind is there on Go with it, do the simplicity

Greetings!

Sounds like a good plan, keep us posted!

Cheers!
