purchasing a new van

Hi, I’m purchasing a new van build through a van build company and the they are working with a local dealership to the financing. The van itself comes with a 3 year 36,000 miles warranty as well as a one year warranty from the van build company. The 7 year extended bumper to bumper warranty that covers the van and the van build is an extra 10K.

Does anyone here have any experience with purchasing one of these extended warranties? Any helpful feedback would be helpful

If they aren’t willing to throw in that extended warranty for free, I’d cancel the sale!

I wouldn’t buy any new vehicle without a 10 year / 100k mile full coverage warranty. Too many of these newer vehicles are just overpriced garbage. There’s a reason the original warranty is so short and so few miles. I’d run fast in the opposite direction.
