Not too sure about the “beauty & simplicity” part, but it is possible. In my humble opinion, too many people make it expensive & over complicated without putting enough emphasis on comfort, convenience, & reliability.
Everything can be as cheap, easy, & simple as we choose to make it, or as complicated & expensive. I prefer cheap, easy, simple, comfortable, convenient, reliable, while still remaining full featured. I want all the amenities I would have in a normal RV, just not the price tags, or the complexities.
Don’t forget about a reliable income either. Life isn’t free, or necessarily cheap. While we can save a fortune on our rigs, there are many costs we can’t reduce or eliminate, and inflation isn’t helping. In the last year or so, my monthly expenses have increased from $600/mo to $800+/mo, and still going up, and that’s after cutting out going out to eat 2-3 times a week.
