Leisure Socket fitting

Can I fit a circular socket to the side of my van (to receive hook up power) then onto a standard domestic multi socket on the inside?
I don’t yet have leisure battery etc.

Greetings & Welcome!

I would run the outside line to a circuit breaker box first.

Cheers!

They sell them on amazon, I used one for my former trailer. If you plug into RV stand it has breakers, but can’t rely on those RV stands working properly, you can buy external rv surge protector that plugs into the stand and you plug into your surge protector only if indicators show the power source is good. Then yes wise to have extra set of breakers on the inside but if you’re just plugging in non permanent stuff like portable heater, laptop, I think 2nd, interior, surge protector suffice if properly rated, but permanently wired stuff - I’d have interior breaker panel for them similar how rvs are wired
