When it comes to rechargeable batteries all I can think of is EVE LiFePo4 314Ah. you’ll grow old and these things still hold 70% charge. 15 years minimum life. Generator? Honda gasoline, EU2000i or newer.LPG conversion kit helpes if you don’t have acces either to gasoline or LPG. Also LPG doesn’t have an expiring date. gasoline does go bad if unused. And damages a carburettor. But solar panels will keep you out of these troubles most of the time.If in a cold climate I strongly recomend a chinese diesel heater. If properly installed and maintained they work for years. After all they’re a well made copy of a german designed product.
Anyway, I have to ask: how do people end up in situations like these?!
Solar gets hyped way more than it should…
A cheap generic inverter generator is the way to go, I’ve bought many used ones in perfectly good working order for $50-$100. They will run for 8-12 hours on a gallon of gas.
LiFePo4 batteries are a waste of time & money. Junkyard deep cycle batteries will outperform them every time, and handle much more abuse.
A 15k motorhome should already have a built in generator. It won’t be as fuel efficient, but it should also be able to power an A/C, which the smaller ones won’t.
If you’re not interested in traveling, you can also get a overnight security gig at many places, and get wages plus free water/power just for living in your MH there.
