Insulating doors with great stuff

Hey , we live in florida and are looking to sound proof/ insulate the interior of our van doors. They have power locks , so we will add a barracades protecting the moving parts. Anyone see any down sides? Well prob use greatstuff pro floor and wall for its enhanced features.

This is one door , the rear doors have less holes .

I’m 90% Sure Great stuff has a low R value and is toxic to the health. I’d go with Sheep wool for many reasons, sound proofing being one of them.

Greetings!

Go to wrecking yard and get the door panels out of a passenger van. That will create vented but dead air space, which will act as insulation while keeping moisture in check, and the door panels themselves offer excellent insulation.

Cheers!
