Granny's Attic addition

I have a box truck with the ceiling of the box being almost 5’ over the cab. I want to build an areodynamic Granny’s attic hopefully out of metal framing with a fiberglass overlay. Has anyone any experience doing something like this?

I would use “foamy construction” aka “Poor Mans Fiberglass” techniques.

I will certainly check it out…I can stub out from the box with some powder coated steel 2” X 6” joists and want to form the front with 1/2’’ PVC pipe and chicken wire with a canvas Drop cloth type material overtop, sealed with waterproofing, and fiberglass coating on the outer surface. It needs to be aerodynamic. I can spray foam insulation on the inside. to fill all the voids. I want to incorporate into the design a craigslist freebie I picked up a few months ago. A truck bed fiberglass cover that I want to use as a big roof hatch. I’ve have never seen one of these re-used this way, but don’t see why it can’t be done. I am using something different in a way I have never seen; and that is a walk though skylight with an inside set of steps for rooftop access. I want to be stealth as possible, and not have visible windows or outside ladders on the box. The only box window will be a porthole window in the shower that will be disguised on the outside to look like a vent/exhaust of some sort. The 3’x6’ skylight is made from a tempered safety glass shower door that was discarded, so I framed it with 2x4 studs, and will use some gas struts left over from a previous job for the lift. The glass door even has a nice full width handle to hang things on! I am making another skylight using a salvaged tempered safety glass window. Any advice/comments would be appreciated.
