Recently retired, i’ve been thinking about retirement, essentially, since I was seven or eight years old. My dad always took our family camping, and built a lot of our equipment.
I’ve done some furniture building and home-improvement projects, and have some knowledge of mechanical systems. It’s intimidating, but I’m totally geeked out about becoming a solar farmer.
I just brought home the clean canvass of a Transit with low miles, and my head is filling with design ideas built around a very short list of must-haves.
Planning to enlist design support and thinking seriously about eventual resale. The next step might be building a van I think I can live in. Taking the baby steps.
