Future planing Guidance

Hello Vanlifers

I am 50 years old and other half 47.

I am planning to get into van life in next 4 years once my daughter gets into college until she graduates will be doing few touring once every 3 months and once she graduates planning to do full time by the time I reach 60.

My plan so far is to get ford extended high roof and short list things that I think will work for us.

Let me know if This are possible to get done in the van

  1. 2 person sleeper and 2 persons extra seat for short term travel with us if my kids want to join once in awhile.

  2. I am planning to raise the van for minor off roadmap is it possible to lift 4 inch.

  3. Need to see what’s the highest lithium battery capacity we can install.

  4. what are the best toilet options that requires less maintenance.

  5. Is 50 gallon water tank possible to install.

  6. As for kitchen one sink, one eletric stove and air fryer oven and tankless water heater.

  7. Queen bed that can be lift up and bottom can be used as storage on gliders and seat then can convert into one small bed if kids join us.

  8. If I have to go off grid can it be done for 3 to 4 days with the max battery power install.

  9. Planing to beef up the suspension system what are the options.

  10. what type of AC unit is enough for the van.

Looking forward to this journey in near future.

What other guidance or blogs I can read to get more information about this.

Also I more important is it possible get this van shipped to Europe travels and will the charging system work on their Grid if I have to charge just in case.

Thanks for any advice in advance.

Welcome!

Given your use description, I would be inclined to start with a used 4x4 school bus in your desired length.

Kool that an option I can look at.

Thanks
