Introduce Yourself…
Hey folks! I’m Dorsey (she/they) and I am oh so very excited to start my van chapter with my recently Craigs-listed 1995 G20 Chevy van. She was outfitted as a Gladiator by Glaval–which means that 1) her nickname is Gladys and 2) she has an oldschool TV+VHS player. Such character, I love it. Currently am thinking of starting with some really basic work–first, a mechanic helped me get her running again, now I can work on getting all the windows all close again, roof rack for kayaks, and minimize the chance of the transmission breaking down. Having a warm shower would be ~sweet~, but will probably save that and a bigger interior revamp for a bit further down the road.
Anyways, just wanted to say hello!! If anyone’s in or around NY, has experience with this particular van, or has a kayak-focused lifestyle, would love love to connect. Cheers and happy trails!
