ill-advised but i’ve already drilled 4 of these 5/16" holes through two of my roof joists. i was gonna do wire runs through them but now i think i’ll just route the wire around the joists instead. anyhow, how much do you think i’ve compromised the structural integrity of the van? i do have 12 solar panels on the roof… would it be worth getting them welded up?
Nah I think they’ll be fine. I wouldn’t worry about it. I don’t think the structural integrity is compromised. Mine have holes all over throughout the bottom and the the side. I ran my LED wiring through them.
