I am currently in the process insulating and soundproofing my van as well, so if you have any questions and advice on what to use, message me!
Hello Steve, I used this website for installing my Walls & I could not have done without using it, another van builder showed me his wall build using this site and he said he never even thought about a moisture barrier and things like that, which can cause rust & mold until he read the info here. I stuck to it & just got a few ideas from other places to finish my walls & they look great. It’s on habatatista under wall conversions.

Start off by just putting a bed in your van and go out camping. You’ll discover the lay out that fits best for you as you spend time traveling. Enjoy!
First post, so call me out if I am skirting the rules. There are only two of us also plus a couple of 50 lb dogs. I am interested in where you source things like wall panels and headliners and flooring and seats. We are not likely to sleep in the van, but more likely to use it for lunch stops and breaks on the road. I envision the van having some overhead storage and a refer but no potty or shower, so I would do the customization myself.
