Hi just as the title says…My question is…
should I be doing electrics before insulation on walls and roof? Or after insulation but before thermo liner?
I will be using recycled plastic bottle wool and xps foam board, deadening is already laid and thermo liner ready too ( for after the insulation is done)

I don’t want to have to tear into walls to work on wiring, so I run my wires outside the walls and hide them with easily removable trim.

What he said… DIYers should do wiring outside the insulation. I had to re-do so many decisions along the way… I couldn’t imagine making all the right wiring decisions before the insulation step! The pros have perfect blueprints to work from. Us DIYers need the flexibility
