Got a Ford E250 that had been converted to a church van. They took the passenger seat out and installed steps, eliminating one of the mounting holes for the seat base. I want to put in a new seat but am struggling to figure out how that works. Can I simply drill new holes for the base a couple of inches over? Are there safety concerns here?
If relocating the seat isn’t a good idea, then what are other options? Any ideas on using that space as storage / where to put a second seat?
