What does everyone do for safety/restraint for dogs (especially big dogs) when travelling? I have a 75lb Dutch Shepherd that travels with me.
I was traveling with him in his varikennel crate, but after reading reviews and watching crash test videos from Center for Pet Safety, this is pretty useless in a crash. I recently purchased a Sleepypod Clickit harness that they recommend, but it calls for restraining the dog in the back seat, similar to a child safety seat. With no back seats in the van, this isn’t possible.
