Right now i am a member of a Local Credit Union…But when I hit the road would you recommend using a national bank?
We use wells fargo and we hate them more than anything in the world. If you don’t have a credit card you may want to look at something else. We lost our debit card in NOLA and had to drive and hour and 30 minutes each way to get a temporary one and that was with a larger bank. Just food for thought.

I use a pre-paid credit(debit?) card for all my purchases. I only keep enough on it for my immediate needs, but I can add funds from any phone or computer. That way if something does happen, they can never get much.

Check with your credit union. Most will have reciprocal agreements with other credit unions and low to no fees on atm machines. Worth the inquiry IMO.
