Covering windows

My Minibus has a lot of windows anyone got any experience covering windows cladding over so don’t loose as much heat

Many thanks

For our smaller windows, I made coverings with felt, metal cloth - kind that goes on wall between radiator and wall, and magnets. Sewed 3 layers together (two felt 1 metallic), glued in the magnets and then sewed around them. I also purchased professionally made one’s for the sliding door, back doors and passenger windows and windshield.

I have shiney chrome blinds on all windows, including windshield. When parked their all at about half closed aimed down towards the outside. This allows us to see out, but keeps the sun & heat out.

In the winter, if we want solar heating, they can be pulled up.

We don’t worry about the insulation BS because that’s what our climate control is for.
