Hi Everybody, Just joined forum and lots to say but must be brief.
I have owned a 2007 Chevy Express Passenger extended 3500 6.0L van for 10 years pulling my camper primarily in the North East.
Van life trend made me realize that I can turn my tow vehicle into a stealthy van camper and go more places with little or no destination planning. How great is that?
My goal is to have all the life/comfort support mechanicals, modular assemblies if possible. Do not want luxury finishes. If I want luxury I will pull my 30ft Airstream International trailer.
A passenger van build (really it is a “Put In” not a build out) presents some unique advantages and disadvantages.
Would benefit discussing the van build process with others. Lots of details to discuss.
