Camper Van Rental Recommendations in California

Hi, folks. I’m new to the forum. My girlfriend and I will be in Cali next month and we want to rent a camper van to get more familiar with them before I make the jump to buy or build one. We’ll be in LA and plan to be on the road for 5-6 days before we have to return to LA to fly out.

I’ve seen many websites for renting–RV Share, Outdoorsy, RVezy, Indie Campers, etc. Does anyone have any recommendations on which ones might be best to rent from? Or any other advice on what to look for?

While I have no direct experience with those companies, I would suggest that you compare their floor plans to see if any look more preferable than others.
