I would like to add a solar panel to the roof of my van. Is it as simple as installing a Renogy RV solar package 100 watt panel and charge controller and connecting it to my House battery? I already have a Renogy dc to dc 20 amp charger connected to my 100 AH agm battery.
That’ll work just fine. That’s how I have mine set up. I’d personally recommend a flexible pane secured with eternabond. It’s a super simple install and doesn’t require you to have a roof rack or anything. The only holes you have to drill are for the cables into the van.
