Anyone have experience with aluminum panels inside your van? Considering that route, looking for input…
Greetings & Welcome!
My only thoughts on it would be the weight & possible thermal bridging.
Cheers!

They claim 40% lighter than plywood/carpet, and use foam tape between panels and body to avoid bridging and noise. Seems like a cool system, just wondering if anyone has firsthand experience.
No personal experience – but that is the way I too am leaning – I found a co in AZ that will not only help with the CAD drawing of it from your basic plan but then cut the pieces to make it and send ( [www.heitek.com) — I have not started that part of build yet - but very soon! I too like the weight, and sturdiness of the extruded aluminum - also take a look at Ourcaravan.com they do a great job with 80/20
Best of luck
