I guess everybody has different tastes… I would have just removed the seats, put down some carpet & padding, and moved a new interior in. I would never remove windows, because they offer too many advantages.
Since vehicles are a depreciating asset, I have embraced the cheapest possible conversions, without sacrificing on comfort, convenience, or reliability.
