DIY’er and craftsman by trade. Live in the NC mountains. Just lucked into finding a great van, a 2016 4x4 high roof 170 ext Sprinter cargo. I’ve had it for about 2 weeks. My wife and I are retiring soon and plan to travel around the country a bit, seeing the national parks & getting off the beaten path as much as we can.

I really enjoy riding off-road motorcycles and plan to use the van for moto trips with a few of my riding buddies. Moab, Baha, Big Bend, etc.

We’ll just start with the basics and add things to the van as we see a need for it. Bed, storage, fridge, power vent, a sink. First, we’ll need to insulate, install a few windows, and a couple passenger seats.
