We bought these Transit Van Cab Window Air Vent Inserts - pair – Van Upgrades, they just go in the front windows and allow for some airflow. I have not been afraid to leave these in our van and lock it. I think it would take as much effort to break as the window would. They are kinda loud if you leave them in driving, but only take a second to put in or take out.
