Diesel heaters are your best friends along with wool socks. So have one installed.
Do a search in youtube for “diesel heater in rv” and you’ll soon understand what they are. Basically chinese knockoff off a webasto or eberspärcher (espar in places that don’t do umlauts) heater, so small you can fit it under passenger seat or some other small space.
